David’s place is an inner city space where sydney's
homeless and MARGINALISED can come to find
friendship, peace, spiritual NOURISHMENT
and connect with the wider community.

It was created to be a place where Jesus would have liked to hang out,
where it doesn't matter if you're rich or poor, or where life has led you.

David’s Place brings together both rich and poor, breaking down barriers in our city.
Division in our communities is where many of our societal problems arise.
To experience David’s Place for yourself is to know that such separation is avoidable.

We meet a few times a week at St Canice’s in Kings Cross as well as in Darlinghurst and Redfern. We catch up and share what is happening in each of our lives. We are real with each other, and speak about the important things.

Over almost 20 years, david’s place has become to many a community where they feel they totally belong

“For people on their own, it's like family. If anything happens you know you've got someone here for you”
